Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, and maintain standby and backup generators for residential properties
- Wire and connect transfer switches, control panels, and fuel systems
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve issues
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes
- Work safely and follow all OSHA and company safety protocols
- Communicate with customers to explain installation processes and maintenance requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Previous experience in a similar role (Generator Installation, Residential Electrical, or HVAC Electrical)
- Hands-on experience with generator installation (certifications are a plus!)
- Ability to work with transfer switches, power panels, and fuel sources
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of residential electrical codes and best practices
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must provide their own basic hand tools.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA certifications (preferred but not required)
