Job Overview

Environmental Power Services Inc. (EPS) is looking for a dependable and mechanically inclined HVAC Helper to support our team of seasoned commercial HVAC technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Assist lead technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC systems
• Support in troubleshooting HVAC equipment and preparing job sites
• Safely handle tools, materials, and equipment needed for the job
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams to assist with equipment diagnosis and installation
• Maintain organized, clean work areas and follow safety protocols
• Use electronic devices (cellphones, tablets) to track work orders and communicate with the team
• Load and unload materials, lift up to 75 lbs, and work physically demanding tasks daily
• Follow direction from senior techs while learning EPS standards and techniques
  
  

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in HVAC or a similar mechanical trade preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• CFC Universal Certification (Required)
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (Required)
• Physically fit and capable of lifting 50-75 lbs
• Comfortable using digital tools and smart devices
• Must bring their own basic industry specific tools.
• Familiarity with HVAC tools and basic equipment handling
• Journeyman Card and/or 5 years of commercial experience is a plus
