Key Responsibilities
- Perform HVAC installation, service, maintenance, and controls in residential and commercial settings.
- Familiarity with electric controls, VVT, DDC, and programmable thermostat controls of HVAC equipment.
- Knowledge of various HVAC equipment types, including window units, package units, air handling units, and some commercial refrigeration.
- Preferred Experience in refrigeration, electric motors, heating units, hermetic compressors, light commercial furnaces, boilers, burners intake and exhaust fans, economizers, humidifiers, low-temperature applications, ice machine experience, and controls knowledge.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Stay updated with industry advancements and best practices.
- EPA 601 Certification (mandatory).
- Apprentice, Master or Journeyman license preferred.
- Proven experience in HVAC/R installation and service.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
