Job Overview

ABL COMFORT SOLUTIONS HVAC is urgently seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Technician to join our high-performing team. You will perform installations, maintenance, and service on both residential and commercial HVAC systems throughout the Boston Metro Area. We are looking for a dedicated professional who values quality, safety, and communication, and is excited to help grow our maintenance agreement program while mentoring junior team members. Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot complex system issues using your technical knowledge and experience
• Communicate clearly with customers to explain options and recommend solutions
• Promote and grow the HVAC maintenance agreement program
• Accurately complete all service and repair documentation
• Train and mentor junior or apprentice technicians
• Represent the company professionally in the field
• Operate company vehicle and tools with care and responsibility
• Participate in on-call emergency service rotations
• Work safely in varying weather conditions and confined spaces
  
  

Qualifications

• 5 years of HVAC service and installation experience preferred
• Valid EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling Certification (Required)
• Refrigeration and Sheet Metal Licenses (Preferred)
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be local to the Boston Metropolitan Area
• Comfortable working from 28' extension and 12' step ladders
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to invest in continued training and tools
• Strong understanding of HVAC codes and electrical/refrigeration principles
• Motivated, dependable, team-oriented, and drug-free
• High work ethic, flexible to work extended hours and weekends when needed

Schedule

• Full-time | Year-round work
• 8 to 10-hour shifts
• On-call rotation & some weekend coverage
