- Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC systems
- Educate customers on issues, solutions, and potential system improvements
- Ensure efficient and safe operation of HVAC equipment
- Troubleshoot refrigerant, gas, and electric HVAC systems
- Work with low voltage controls and electrical systems
- Perform work according to local, state, and national HVAC codes
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly inventory service vehicle
- Utilize company-provided smartphone/tablet for scheduling and invoicing
- Participate in training sessions, vendor technical workshops, and team meetings
- Assist in mentoring and training junior technicians
- Represent Mission Mechanical with professionalism and integrity
- Minimum 2 years of HVAC experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of HVAC functional design, installation, and troubleshooting
- Experience with residential and commercial HVAC systems
- Must have reliable transportation & necessary hand tools
- Proficient in diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of gas, electric, and refrigerant-based systems
- Ability to read blueprints, interpret codes, and follow safety procedures
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Must be detail-oriented and organized
