Key Responsibilities
- Project Estimating & Cost Control:
- Estimate industrial and commercial construction projects accurately.
- Create scopes of work for contract development.
- Mark up monthly requisitions and ensure accurate project billing.
- Project Planning & Scheduling:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
- Coordinate utility applications and infrastructure planning.
- Oversee punch list completion and final project closeout.
- Contract & Documentation Management:
- Review and submit submittals to design professionals.
- Prepare contract documents, subcontracts, and change orders.
- Maintain and issue meeting minutes and project reports.
- Customer & Vendor Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Ensure project quality control and compliance with all regulatory standards.
- 4 years of project management experience in industrial construction.
- 2 years of estimating experience with proficiency in industrial and commercial construction estimating.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience accepted).
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software (ProEst, BuildingConnected, Bluebeam, or similar).
- Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Certifications (Preferred but Not Required):
- Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) from ASPE or other industry-recognized certifications.
