This position plays a vital role in the design and delivery of high-quality electrical systems for diverse construction projects. Collaborate closely with senior staff to develop detailed electrical construction documents, perform system layouts, and engage in construction coordination processes, including 3D modeling and clash detection. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking to grow and contribute to a dynamic team.Key Responsibilities-Develop and produce electrical construction documents, pre-fabrication drawings, detailed sketches, and control documentation.-Design electrical circuits for power and lighting systems and layout fire alarm systems.-Generate and interpret one-line diagrams, riser diagrams, and electrical room layouts.-Perform 3D modeling (BIM) and clash detection using Revit and Navisworks.-Coordinate MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and architectural plans.-Conduct site visits to survey existing systems and meet with customers and vendors.-Participate in various construction coordination processes to ensure project success.Qualifications-Basic Level Candidate Proficiencies : -Bachelor's or associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, Electrician License, or equivalent work experience.-Minimum of 2 years of electrical engineering / design experience.-Proficiency in electrical circuiting for power and lighting systems.-Experience with Revit (minimum 2 years), AutoCAD, Navisworks, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat / Bluebeam.-Understanding of one-line diagrams, riser diagrams, and fire alarm system layouts.-Intermediate Level Candidate Proficiencies : -Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, Electrician License, or equivalent work experience.-3-5 years of electrical engineering / design experience.-Advanced understanding of one-line and riser diagrams.-Proficiency in designing electrical room layouts and coordinating MEP and architectural plans.BenefitsAt Piquette & Howard Electric Service, we believe in taking care of our team.
