Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed site investigations, take-offs, and cost estimates.
- Analyze and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications.
- Develop and evaluate planting plans while identifying plant species.
- Prepare accurate proposals, requisitions, and change orders.
- Manage sub-contractor proposals and ensure competitive pricing.
- Coordinate with clients, general contractors, and landscape architects to ensure project alignment.
- Utilize Bluebeam, PlanSwift, and other tools for effective project management.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of construction contracts, drainage, and grading.
- Monitor project budgets and ensure cost-efficiency.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1-2 years in landscape construction and project management.
- Proven track record with NYC or urban residential/high-rise projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Bluebeam, PlanSwift, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Licenses and Certifications: Valid Driver's License (Required). OSHA 30/60 certification (Preferred).
- Education: Degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or Construction Management (Preferred).
- Addtional Traits: Excellent organizational and communication skills. Strong analytical abilities and multitasking capability.
