Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Training:
• Supervise and assign daily tasks to crew members
• Provide training on maintenance techniques, safety, and equipment use
• Monitor work quality and performance, providing guidance and feedback
• Maintenance Operations:
• Perform routine grounds maintenance including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and weed control
• Identify and address plant health issues such as pests, disease, or damage
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment including mowers, blowers, trimmers, and aerators
• Site & Quality Management:
• Conduct weekly property inspections and ensure service timelines are met
• Maintain accurate records of time, materials, and completed work
• Communicate with clients and account managers to address concerns and ensure satisfaction
• Safety & Equipment Oversight:
• Lead daily safety meetings and enforce protocols
• Conduct equipment safety checks and ensure proper vehicle and trailer use
• Complete and submit incident reports when necessary
  

Required Qualifications

• Experience:
• 4 years in landscape maintenance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Knowledge & Skills:
• Familiarity with plant identification, lawn care best practices, and seasonal maintenance
• Ability to operate a range of equipment, including blowers, edgers, trimmers, core aerators, and trailers
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills
• Leadership & Communication:
• Proven ability to motivate, delegate, and lead a team effectively
• Clear verbal and written communication for interacting with clients and internal staff
• Additional Requirements:
• Valid driver's license (required)
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check
• Physically capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions and lifting heavy materials

Schedule

• Full-Time | Year-Round
• Monday to Friday
• 8-10 Hour Shifts | Day Shifts Only
• Occasional Overtime and Weekends as Needed
