Responsibilities Include
- Lead and direct 1-3 others in the shop or out on installs
- Manage and operate the CNC. In shop duties only
- Build custom cabinets to fit exact client specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery to craft cabinetry
- Operate shop machines, edgebanders, and shapers with precision
- Construct frameless and face frame cabinets and 5-piece doors
- Install cabinets thoroughly and efficiently at project sites
- Maintain adherence to safety and quality standards across all projects
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workspace
- Perform regular tool and equipment maintenance
- Proven experience as a cabinet maker or finish carpenter
- Skilled with woodworking tools, CNC equipment, and specialty machinery
- Ability to independently calculate and construct detailed cabinetry
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and technical layouts
- Strong eye for aesthetics and craftsmanship
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Physical ability to lift and install heavy cabinetry
- High school diploma or GED required
- Vocational training in carpentry is a plus
