MAC Construction Company Inc is looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter to lead by example on our diverse construction projects. The role combines technical carpentry skills with leadership responsibilities, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities

  • Craftsmanship :

Perform rough and finish carpentry, framing, and installations.

  • Install doors, frames, siding, trim, cabinets, and specialty items.
  • Support selective demolition and concrete work.
  • Leadership :

    • Mentor and guide team members to develop skills and efficiency.

  • Act as second-in-command or fill in for the Project Superintendent when required.
  • Delegate tasks and resolve conflicts on-site.
  • Technical Expertise :

    • Interpret and follow plans and specifications.

  • Perform layout, grading, and elevations for foundations and finishes.
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment in compliance with safety protocols.
  • Team Collaboration :

    • Communicate effectively with teammates, subcontractors, and vendors.

  • Build trust and respect across all stakeholders.
  • Site Management :

    • Maintain clean and organized job sites.

  • Ensure all work aligns with MAC's mission, vision, and values.

    • Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in carpentry, including leadership roles.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team with minimal supervision.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor, including standing, bending, climbing, and lifting.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and operating power tools.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
