Element Design Build LLC is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Lead Carpenter / Site Supervisor to join our rapidly growing, high-performing team based in Victor, NY. This is an exciting, full-time, year-round opportunity for a skilled professional ready to take charge of sophisticated residential and light commercial builds. You'll manage project sites, oversee crew activity, ensure adherence to architectural specs, and contribute hands-on in delivering some of the most beautifully crafted structures in the region. Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Supervise construction site activities and uphold safety regulations and building codes.
• Lead and direct carpenters, builders, and subcontractors to ensure quality performance.
• Maintain and organize construction documentation: daily logs, safety reports, material usage, etc.
• Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and ensure accurate project execution.
• Manage site logistics including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and material ordering.
• Perform inspections to confirm scopes meet required specifications and standards.
• Assist Project Managers with site workflow and schedule alignment.
• Maintain clean, hazard-free worksites and ensure tools/equipment are in excellent condition.
• Support project closeouts and provide leadership through final punch lists.
  
  

Qualifications

• Required:
• 5 years of hands-on residential construction experience.
• Strong working knowledge of jobsite management, scheduling, and problem resolution.
• Skilled in interpreting technical documents, blueprints, and specifications.
• Experience managing crews and coordinating subcontractors.
• Comfortable using project management software and digital reporting tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Valid NYS Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Preferred:
• Experience in high-performance, passive house, or energy-efficient construction.
• Familiarity with advanced enclosure systems and green building principles.
