Responsibilities Include
- Lead carpentry tasks on residential and commercial projects, including insurance damage restoration and remodeling
- Perform finish carpentry including:
- Installing baseboards, crown molding, and window trims
- Hanging doors and setting cabinets with precision
- Complete structural carpentry including:
- Wood and metal framing
- Drywall installation and finishing
- Installing suspended ceiling systems
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure high-quality, timely project completion
- Uphold job site safety and cleanliness
- Mentor junior carpenters or laborers as needed
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on carpentry experience in residential and/or commercial construction
- Advanced finish carpentry skills and proficiency in framing, drywall, and ceiling installation
- Strong understanding of construction safety and quality control standards
- Ability to read blueprints and plans independently
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, work at heights, ladders, roofing, and in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Self-motivated and able to manage daily tasks without micromanagement
- A valid driver's license preferred
