Job Overview

Doug Egner Plumbing & Medical Gas LLC is seeking an experienced and ASSE 6010-certified Med Gas Plumber to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining medical gas systems in commercial healthcare settings, ensuring compliance with all medical gas codes and regulations.

This position requires frequent travel, so we are looking for a self-driven, safety-conscious professional who can work independently while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain medical gas piping systems in healthcare facilities.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with ASSE 6010 standards and medical gas codes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot medical gas system issues and provide effective solutions.
• Safely operate hand and power tools required for installation and repair.
• Work independently and efficiently to complete assigned tasks.
• Maintain high safety standards and ensure compliance with all OSHA and industry regulations.
• Travel to various job sites as required.
  
  

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience as a Commercial Medical Gas with ASSE 6010 Installer
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of the plumbing codes and regulations
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex plumbing issues
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders
• Self-driven and ability to work safely and independently

Requirements

• ASSE 6010 Med Gas License Required
• Knowledge of medical gas installation, repairs, and maintenance techniques.
• Knowledge of medical gas codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve problems.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to work on your own to complete requested tasks.
• TRAVELING IS A MUST.
• Per Diem: $30 - $75 per day, depending on project
