Key Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency water, fire, and mold damage calls promptly.
- Assess property damage and determine the best mitigation procedures.
- Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and demolition work as needed.
- Remove, clean, and restore damaged property and materials.
- Set up and monitor drying equipment such as air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA filters.
- Perform mold remediation procedures following industry best practices.
- Assist in fire damage cleanup, including soot and smoke odor removal.
- Maintain detailed documentation, including photos, moisture readings, and job notes.
- Communicate professionally with customers, insurance adjusters, and team members.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
- Experience in water, fire, and mold restoration (preferred but not required - we will train the right person!).
- IICRC certification in Water Damage Restoration (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying (ASD) is a plus.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor in varying conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable using technology for job tracking and documentation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record - Company vehicle provided for work-related travel.
- Ability to work on-call for emergency responses, including some nights and weekends.
