Key Responsibilities
- Generate Leads & Build Relationships - Proactively seek new business through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach.
- Sales & Negotiation - Conduct discovery calls, develop tailored proposals, and negotiate contracts to close deals.
- Customer Engagement - Educate potential clients on our products and services, ensuring they understand how we can meet their needs.
- Technical Expertise - Master our construction and surfacing services to confidently present solutions to customers.
- CRM & Sales Process Management - Maintain accurate records in our CRM system to track leads, proposals, and follow-ups.
- Upselling & Cross-Selling - Identify additional services that may benefit customers, such as court equipment, lighting, or maintenance plans.
- Collaboration with Operations - Work closely with our construction teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Sales success in construction & construction estimating with direct client-facing experience.
- Team collaboration on complex jobs involving multiple trades.
- Experience selling to diverse customer types, primarily B2B and B2G, with some exposure to B2C sales.
- Ability to read and interpret bid documents and plans to develop accurate proposals.
- Familiarity with longer-term sales cycles, ensuring follow-through from lead generation to project completion.
- Proven track record of referrals, demonstrating strong client relationships and repeat business.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, capable of managing time effectively and working independently.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, able to present solutions, handle objections, and close deals.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple deals, bids, and follow-ups with precision.
- Tech-savvy, proficient in CRM tools, Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook), and sales automation platforms.
