Job Overview

Legacy Landscaping LLC is seeking a skilled and seasoned Part-Time Landscape Deisgner to lead our crews and deliver exceptional landscaping results for residential and commercial projects. This role requires a hands-on leader who sets the standard for quality, ensures projects remain on schedule, and communicates effectively with both team members and clients. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead landscape crews to complete residential and commercial projects efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, team members, and management to coordinate tasks and meet project goals.
  • Plan, assign, and monitor daily tasks to ensure productivity, safety, and adherence to timelines.
  • Train and mentor team members on proper landscaping techniques, equipment operation, and safety practices.
  • Operate and oversee the maintenance of landscaping equipment, tools, and vehicles.
  • Inspect worksites to ensure quality, adherence to designs, and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Address project challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement timely solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Represent Legacy Landscaping professionally with a focus on client satisfaction and relationship-building.

Qualifications

  • Experience : Proven experience as a Landscape Foreman or Crew Leader in residential and commercial landscaping.
  • Leadership Skills : Strong ability to lead, motivate, and mentor crews while maintaining high morale and productivity.
  • Communication : Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for coordinating with clients and teams.
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency in operating landscaping equipment (skid steers, excavators, compactors, etc.) and ensuring proper maintenance.
  • Project Coordination : Experience in planning and executing landscape projects, including scheduling, task management, and quality control.
  • Licenses : Valid Driver's License required.
  • Work Ethic : A hands-on leader who takes pride in delivering quality work and setting an example for the team.
