Key Responsibilities
- Job Understanding & Preparation
- Coordinate with Sales Representatives to understand job requirements
- Conduct initial site inspections in collaboration with on-site customer project managers
- Review installation manuals and codes for gas and wood-burning fireplaces
- Identify and correct errors or omissions in estimates
- Job Site Readiness & Scheduling
- Ensure job site meets all pre-installation requirements
- Confirm clearances and coordinate installation schedules with customers, general contractors, or builders
- Schedule installation crews and ensure proper understanding of tasks
- Organize and stage installation materials for crew pick-up
- Conduct routine job site visits for long-term projects
- Post-Installation Review & Follow-Up
- Review installation documentation, notes, and photos from install crews
- Conduct post-installation inspections as needed
- Identify follow-up actions and ensure completion
- Schedule any necessary additional work
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Prior construction experience required
- Ability to read and comprehend installation and end-user manuals
- National Fireplace Institute (NFI) certification is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications and iPad use
- Willingness to learn internal operations system
- Experience supervising and managing installation crews, including subcontractors
- Ability to communicate effectively with both English & Spanish-speaking subcontractors
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
