TCC Enterprises Inc., a family-owned and operated General Contractor with 35 years of success, is seeking a Project Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects from start to finish. This role is perfect for an experienced leader who excels in managing field operations, ensuring quality control, maintaining safety standards, and driving on-time project completion.

As a Project Superintendent, you will be the on-site leader responsible for scheduling subcontractors, coordinating materials, enforcing safety regulations, and ensuring projects stay within budget and on schedule. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

We are looking for someone with experience in a similar role or field who is eager to learn our way of doing things and grow within the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Site Management & Coordination:
    • Serve as the on-site leader, ensuring all work is completed according to project plans, schedules, and safety requirements.
    • Direct and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers, ensuring work meets quality and safety standards.
    • Maintain a daily job log of work progress, subcontractor activities, weather conditions, and material deliveries.
    • Schedule inspections, testing, and permits to ensure compliance with local building codes and project specifications.
    • Establish and maintain good relationships with clients, inspectors, and neighboring property owners.
  • Scheduling & Budget Control:
    • Develop and maintain the construction schedule, ensuring all work progresses efficiently and stays on time.
    • Control labor costs, making strategic hiring and subcontracting decisions to stay within budget.
    • Oversee materials procurement and ensure timely deliveries to prevent delays.
    • Enforce cost control measures, avoiding unnecessary expenses such as rework, overtime, and material waste.
  • Safety & Quality Assurance:
    • Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies, ensuring a zero-incident work environment.
    • Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and training sessions for all personnel on-site.
    • Ensure quality control at every stage of construction, identifying and addressing issues before they become costly mistakes.
    • Maintain clean and organized job sites to prevent hazards and promote efficiency.
  • Project Communication & Reporting:
    • Work closely with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, and Owners to ensure smooth project execution.
    • Attend and lead weekly project meetings to provide updates and discuss challenges.
    • Track and manage change orders, ensuring all modifications are documented and approved.
    • Submit expense reports, delivery tickets, and subcontractor invoices on a weekly basis.
    • Provide project close-out documentation, including punch lists, as-built drawings, warranties, and client sign-offs.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience:
    • 5 years of commercial construction experience in a Superintendent or similar field leadership role.
  • Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Associate or bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Certifications:
    • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (preferred, but company training available).
    • Fall Protection, Lifts, or other safety certifications (preferred, but training provided).
  • Other Requirements:
