Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration systems
- Perform charging and recovery of refrigerants following EPA regulations
- Install, replace, and maintain motors, controls, compressors, and other system components
- Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure system efficiency
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Ensure compliance with industry safety regulations and company policies
- Work occasional nights and weekends as required for emergency service calls
- Strong electrical troubleshooting / problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, controls, and electrical systems
- 3 or more years of experience in commercial refrigeration or a related field
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair refrigeration systems independently
- EPA Certification required
- Valid driver's license with a reasonable driving record
- Willingness to work some nights and weekends as per our on call mechanics rotation
