Key Responsibilities

• Install wiring systems, devices, fixtures, paddle fans, and conduits in residential homes independently.
• Read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications to execute wiring layouts.
• Install temporary poles and ensure proper electrical connections.
• Perform digging, drilling, and extensive ladder work for electrical installations.
• Work at heights above 12 feet on ladders, lifts, or scaffolding.
• Run electrical wiring through attics, walls, and crawl spaces.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems to ensure safe operation.
• Operate and maintain hand tools, conduit benders, drills, and other electrical equipment.
• Follow safety regulations and use required protective equipment, including hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, and reinforced-toe boots.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• 3 years of experience working for an electrical contractor.
• Journeyman License preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code and Local Electrical Codes.
• Proficiency in electrical wiring, troubleshooting, and conduit bending.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and follow construction plans.
• Experience using meters and testing equipment for diagnostics.
• Valid Florida Driver's License and good driving record.
• Ability to work in hot, humid, dusty environments both indoors and outdoors.
• Willingness to work overtime, nights, and weekends when needed.

Work Schedule & Location

• Location: Port Richey, FL
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, with overtime, night, and weekend availability
