CT Mechanical is looking for a highly skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal ductwork and HVAC components with precision and efficiency. You will be responsible for ensuring that all sheet metal systems are installed according to specifications, blueprints, and safety guidelines. Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal duct systems with precision.
• Read and interpret blueprints and layout specifications to plan installations.
• Run square and spiral ducts and install VAV boxes.
• Set hangers, metal strapping ducts, and curbs.
• Operate metalworking machines and hand tools to cut, punch, and shape sheet metal.
• Grind and buff seams, joints, and rough surfaces for a professional finish.
• Inspect products and ensure all installed materials meet safety and quality standards.
• Maintain strict adherence to job site safety protocols and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with team members while demonstrating integrity and craftsmanship.
  
  

What You Bring

• Minimum 3 years of experience in sheet metal and ductwork on commercial or industrial job sites.
• High school diploma or GED.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, work an 8-hour shift outdoors, and operate heavy tools.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality work.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.
