Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, and graders on commercial and government site development projects.
- Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and grade stakes to ensure accurate operations.
- Perform grading, trenching, excavation, and earth-moving tasks efficiently and safely.
- Follow proper safety protocols, including OSHA and job-specific safety procedures.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance of equipment.
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors, project managers, and other team members.
- Adapt to different job sites and adjust operations as needed for project success.
- Experience in a similar role or field is preferred, but we are willing to train candidates who are eager to learn.
- Ability to operate and maintain heavy equipment used in site development projects.
- Familiarity with grading, excavation, trenching, and general earthwork.
- Understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret site plans and grade stakes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required.
