This entry-level role provides a fantastic opportunity to develop hands-on skills while assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems. Licensed in multiple states, Key Fire Protection delivers innovative solutions and superior service to ensure client safety and security.Responsibilities include but are not limited to : -Assist experienced Sprinkler Fitters with the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems.-Follow blueprints, specifications, and safety codes to ensure accurate system assembly.-Use hand and power tools to cut, measure, thread, and assemble pipes and components.-Transport and organize tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites.-Maintain a clean and safe work area by removing debris and adhering to safety protocols.-Support job site preparations, ensuring proper tools and supplies are available for tasks.-Communicate effectively with team members to meet deadlines and achieve project goals.-Learn and apply fire safety codes, standards, and industry best practices under supervision.The ideal candidate should possess : -High school diploma or equivalent.-Prior experience in construction, plumbing, or mechanical systems is a plus but not required.-Ability to lift, carry, and transport heavy tools and materials (50 lbs ).-Comfortable working at heights, ladders, and in various environmental conditions.-Basic understanding of hand and power tools with a willingness to learn proper use and safety.-Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude.-Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.-Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.-Willingness to undergo training and safety certifications as required.Physical Requirements : -Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.-Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.-Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.Benefits : -Weekly Pay for reliable income.-On-the-Job Training to build a successful career in fire protection.-Health, dental, and vision insurance.-Paid time off and paid holidays.-Opportunities for advancement within Key Fire Protection, Inc.-A positive team culture with a focus on safety, quality, and personal growth.Schedule : -Full-time, Monday-Friday (occasional overtime may be required).-Local travel to job sites is expected.Be part of something impactful-help us build safer communities, one project at a time!We foster a family-like environment where every employee is valued.
