About The Role

FaciliServ is expanding our operations in California and seeking an energetic Field Service Technician to travel throughout Northern and Central California, from Fresno to San Francisco. This role involves inspecting, maintaining, and repairing athletic equipment at schools and recreational centers to ensure safety and functionality. With a company vehicle and all travel expenses covered, you'll have the opportunity to explore diverse locations across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Regional Travel: Travel extensively throughout Northern and Central California, with overnight stays.
• Client Consultation: Work directly with clients on-site to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Maintenance and Repair: Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on gym and bleacher equipment to meet safety standards.
• Safety at Heights: Safely operate on structures ranging from 20-50 feet, utilizing ladders, manlifts, and other equipment.
• Detailed Documentation: Maintain thorough records of all work performed, materials used, and customer communications.
• Physical Activity: Perform lifting, crawling, bending, and other maintenance-related physical tasks.
  
  

Is This You?

• Experience with Tools: Background in carpentry, welding, electrical work, or related mechanical skills is beneficial. Comfort using tools and reading a tape measure is required.
• Travel Enthusiast: Willing to travel approximately 85% of the time throughout Northern and Central California, primarily Monday to Friday.
• Physically Fit: Able to work at heights and perform demanding physical tasks across varied environments.
• Strong Communicator: Capable of interacting effectively with clients and documenting work accurately.
• Licensing: Valid driver's license with a clean record; able to pass background checks and DOT physical as required.

Schedule

• Full-Time Hours: Primarily Monday to Friday with occasional weekend availability. 35-45 hours.
