Job Summary

Industrial Piping & Welding LLC is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Welder to join our team at our fab shop in Syracuse, UT. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the GMAW and GTAW welding processes and demonstrate proficiency in reading blueprints, layout, rigging, and installing threaded pipe. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects within a dynamic and supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Tacking and Fitting: Perform self-tacking and fitting tasks efficiently.
• Welding: Execute GMAW and GTAW welding processes with precision and expertise.
• Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate and high-quality work.
• Layout and Installation: Conduct precise layout work and install threaded pipe effectively.
• Rigging and Hanging: Experience with rigging and hanging piping systems.
• Testing: Complete a weld test to demonstrate welding proficiency.
• Tool Usage: Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to accomplish tasks.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in welding and piping.
• Skills: Proven expertise in GMAW and GTAW welding processes.
• Blueprints: Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Layout and Installation: Competence in layout tasks and installing threaded pipe.
• Rigging: Experience with rigging and hanging piping systems.
• Tools: Proficient use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.

• This position is based in our fab shop in Syracuse, UT.
