Job Description:
Working with another team member you will be driving the Arlington County Mobile Commuter Store to designated locations within Arlington VA.. You will provide commuters with bus, metro, train, etc. with ticket/fare purchases and information about the mass transportation offered.
This is NOT A COMMISSION SALES Position
See duties below:
- Safely drive assigned mobile store
- Provide a communication link between customers and staff
- Sale of Metro and local transit passes, MTA, SmarTrip cards and other forms of transportation passes
- Provide trip planning/pricing information
- Work with Point-of-Sale system
- Complete daily paperwork/Reconcile daily sales
- Complete pre and post trip reports for the vehicle(s) to ensure that the assigned vehicle(s) are in good working order
- Provide outstanding customer service to all
- Other Duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bilingual a Plus
- Must be 18 years or older
- Minimum of 2-4 years driving experience
- Driving record must be clean or have under 2pts with no traffic convictions within the last 2 years. (Parking and speed camera tickets are NOT a factor on your driving record.)
- Customer Service/Sales experience preferred
- On time and reliable performance is a must
- Outgoing personality
- Pre-employment Background and drug testing
