Fabricator (welder) of hollow m etal doors and frames.
Essential Functions
Must be able to stand and walk for much of the day . Ability to lift 5-25 pounds frequently and ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Standing , reaching, walking .
Work Environment
Worker is subject to frequent heavy lifting and use of welder and other power tools . Other conditions may include proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery and using various tools and hardware .

Essential Functions
- H andles hollow metal doors and frames weighing from 60 to 150 pounds
- Performs fabrication on these products including: Welding parts together
- Using jigsaw or other power tools to cut holes in doors and frames
- Using 40 pound electric grinder to smooth out welds, etc.
- Installing vision kits and glass in doors u sing electric drills
- Reads Work Orders and Product Templates to establish necessary fabrication to be performed
- Other relative duties as assigned
- High School Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
- Forklift certification preferre d
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test
- B asic computer skills
- Knowledge of architectural door materials and hardware
- Good communications skills
- Ability to accurately do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete forms
- Ability to work closely and cordially with other staff associates
