The Installation Storefront Supervisor assists with leading, directing, and supervising the installation of Aluminum Storefront materials, door hardware and accessories in the field. This includes assisting with supervising the performance of Installer associates while implementing and enforcing processes to meet production quota, quality control requirements and construction deadlines. This position is the secondary contact for enforcing safe work practices for Installers. This position includes frequent site visits, scheduling manpower, managing multiple projects, and field installation as needed.

Essential Functions
- Assists with overseeing field installation of assigned projects
- Helps monitor material flow in the field, including receiving of doors and hardware; assuring quality, accuracy and efficiency at all points
- Assists installation manager with monitoring production schedules, daily door/hardware installation; recommends adjustments to schedule as needed to meet construction deadlines
- Assists with supervising Installers while keeping accurate attendance records and maintaining a productive work environment
- Communicates with management, via email or phone conversations, in a clear and professional manner
- Assists with training and communicating job expectations to Installers
- Assists with performance appraisals and coaching
- Maintain a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and safety while ensuring quality standards
- Works independently and with other installers to install Aluminum Storefront; includes but not limited to, installing Frames, Doors, Glass, Curtain Wall and hardware for commercial applications
- Ensures manufacturer direction and warranty requirements when installing products
- Drives to job site and monitors installation of materials assuring that the daily schedule is complete and all installations are finished to the customer satisfaction
- Tracks time and materials as required for each installation project
- Travel is required mostly in PA but could travel as far south as FL. This will be Mon-Fri but not always a full week when traveling. Average of 5 projects a year currently
- Other relative duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2 to 3 years of experience with the Aluminum Storefront and hardware industry, required. Including installation experience with doors, frames and hardware products
- Able to read and interpret blue prints and plans
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Clean driving record and 21 years old required to drive for the company
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to read, write and speak basic English in order to communicate with General Contractors
- Effective time management and organization skills
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate and understand detailed instructions
- Basic computer skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently, efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Ability to read and use a measuring tape, level and other required tools for installation
- Excellent interpersonal skills required
- Ability to safely lift 25-75 pounds
