Summary
The logistics coordinator works with the Warehouse Manager to maintain proper flow and shipping of outbound material. Delivers materials to job site, inspects and maintains truck, reports shortages and claims to supervisor and assists in loading and storing of materials. Not a CDL driver but may require some certification depending on state law.
Essential Functions
Process Requests for Shipping
Process picking slips for jobs to be packed/Stock requisitions to be pulled
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
Deliver materials to the job site
Manage POD application.
Initiate Shipment within app
Help manage and maintain Cook and Boardman fleet.
Verify Signatures and make corrections when necessary.
Work with Warehouse Manager to be liaison between Sales force and warehouse shipping needs
Collaborate with team members to evaluate/implement process and procedures
Any other duties assigned by Warehouse Manager
Other relative duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
Current and valid US driver’s license preferred
Clean driving record and current operator’s license
At least 21 years of age to drive for company
Forklift certification preferred
At least 1 years of experience in similar position preferred
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience driving trucks for delivery
Knowledge of architectural door materials and hardware
Experience with Microsoft Office
Good communication skills – proper use of company issued devices
Ability to do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete forms
Ability to work closely and cordially with other staff associates

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and see. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hand to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Frequent lifting required of items 5-50 pounds. Work Environment
This job operates in both a professional office and warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. May occasionally require driving to project sites. Conditions will include proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery and using various tools and hardware. Subject to frequent heavy lifting. May be exposed to variable weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures.
