Field Technician (Automatic Operators)

The Automatic Operator Installation Technician will be responsible for the installation and service of automatic doors with or without direct onsite supervision.   Essential Functions  Install and service automatic doors Maintain company-owned equipment ​Work in a team environment with other team members ​Observe all safety rules and best practices  ​Follow all company policies and procedures  Other relative duties as assigned  Minimum Qualifications  Experience with installation of automatic swinging, sliding, folding and/or revolving doors or other commercial doors is preferred.​​ Carpentry, electrical, or wiring experience is a plus Familiarity with construction procedures  ​Manufacturer specific certifications ​Familiar with construction procedures ​Ability to pass background check and drug screen  ​Valid driver's license  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities   Ability to work with others on a team  Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to listen, understand and follow directions Ability to handle basic hand and power tools AAADM certification a plus  Physical Demands   ​​Prolonged periods of time walking and standing. Spends more than 1/3 of time standing, kneeling/crouching/stooping, using hands and reaching Frequent lifting required of items 25-50 pounds, and occasional lifting over 90 pounds. Manual dexterity is needed to operate a variety of machinery and equipment. Subject to frequent heavy lifting. May require driving to project sites.
