Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in receiving, stocking, and pricing of all merchandise
- Cashiering (handling money, giving accurate change)
- Maintain clean and orderly store appearance
- Deliver customer service with enthusiasm and genuine interest in ensuring guest satisfaction
- Communicate clearly, effectively, and politely with customers in store and over the phone
Requirements:
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time and be able to lift 40lbs frequently
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Retail experience preferred and previous home improvement knowledge helpful
- Spanish speaking is a plus!

The Cool Hardware Company (TCHC), also known as A Few Cool Hardware Stores is an awesome group of thirteen Ace Hardware stores across Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia. TCHC founded in 2003 and became employee-owned in 2021. At each of our locations, we recognize the needs of our customers and community in order to bring in the best possible products to each individual store.
