- Perform cleaning protocols of PCR rooms or any other specific lab area
- Assemble collection kits
- Register temperatures of freezers / fridges
- Place orders for general lab supplies
- Store general lab supplies
- Accession samples using a laboratory information management system
- Witness lab procedures
- Store samples post-analysis
- Pack media records for outside storage
- Locate and retrieve stored samples for re-testing#LI-CN1
- Knowledge of the proper use and maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with other professionals within the company and clients, as needed
- Ability to understand and apply Safety Standards and Good Lab Practices
- Working knowledge using Microsoft Office suite of applications
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Frequent reaching, grasping, repetitive motions and eye / hand coordination.
