The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in PTC Windchill architecture, configuration, and customization with strong leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams and deliver scalable, innovative solutions that optimize business processes.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must have 5 years of experience working in a Regulated Industry
- (Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred)
- 5 years of experience working in PTC Windchill systems, including architecture, customization, report creation and administration.
- 3 years of managerial experience leading cross-functional teams in a technical environment.
- Strong understanding of PLM best practices, including Part/BOM management, Change Control, and CAD integrations.
- Strong understanding of RIM best practices, including domestic and international submission processes.
- Experience integrating PLM with Microsoft Dynamics (MD D365 F&O) or other ERP systems.
- Knowledge of Medical Device/Pharmaceutical regulatory frameworks (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485) and risk management processes in regulated industries.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in PTC Windchill or related technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Experience in data migration from legacy systems to PTC Windchill. Familiarity with programming and scripting languages (Java, XML, Python).

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
- Technical Leadership:
- Design and architect scalable PTC Windchill PLM/RIM solutions to meet business requirements, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.
- Responsible for the implementation, integration, and customization of Windchill with enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, MES).
- Stay up to date with PTC Windchill releases and recommend upgrades and new features to improve system capabilities.
- Work with business leaders and cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing) to understand their needs and translate system requirements into an executable scalable solution.
- Managerial Duties:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, administrators, and analysts responsible for Windchill implementation and support.
- Develop roadmap, allocate resources, and manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Provide performance feedback and career development guidance to team members.
- System Integration and Optimization:
- Oversee integrations of Windchill with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, D365) and other enterprise applications.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to drive efficiency and compliance.
- Lead data migration and transformation efforts, ensuring data integrity and consistency across platforms.
- Governance and Compliance:
- Establish best practices for system configuration, maintenance, and documentation. Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies (FDA, ISO, GxP).
Travel:
Travel up to 25% may be required.
