As a member of Data Analytics, the Data Analyst compiles and analyzes data generated from Bank’s core processing system. The Data Analyst supports all business lines by leveraging data to support bank-wide strategies to drive an exceptional customer experience and overall business performance.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compile, generate, and analyze data to examine efficiencies, identify trends, and uncover opportunities to reduce expenses and boost income.
- Design, compile, and generate requested reports for individual business units, presenting data in an understandable format.
- Analyze data sets to identify sales and service opportunities.
- Evaluate product trends, consumer demographics, and marketing campaigns to optimize product and service marketing.
- Create and maintain models for forecasting and strategic business decisions.
- Ensure all relevant data points are incorporated into reports for comprehensive analysis.
- Collaborate with various departments to obtain and create comprehensive reports for dissemination to Branch/Retail Administration and/or Senior Management.
- Assist in compiling and analyzing information regarding branch profit, loss, and income/expenses against budget.
- Prepare presentations with tables and charts on retail analytics for Retail Management.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as requested.
- Support the Business Intelligence Team in gathering and interpreting data to drive decision-making and operational improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent specialized education in finance and business.
- Two or more years of financial/business analytics experience, preferably in a banking environment.
- Exceptional Excel skills and proficiency in other Microsoft Office programs, including Word and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of banking core processing systems, financial data management systems, Power BI, Tableau or Customer Relationship Management Tool.
- Experience working with business intelligence tools and data visualization software is a plus.
- Thorough understanding of banking procedures, policies, principles, functions, and regulations.
