Server/Waiter

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain positive guest relations will be key to your success in this role. You may also have to make alcoholic beverages while on shift for your tables as well. If you do not have bartending experience that is okay you will be taught. You will need to be certified for food handlers card, or safe serve, also title 4 alcohol certification with in 30 days of hiring or already have one. Must be good at up selling.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the OpenTable system or other methods as required.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy, enhancing overall guest services.
• Follow all food handling safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
• Familiarity with food handling practices is a requirement.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
• Must be willing and able to make cocktails.
