COHO Integrated Solutions is seeking a Project Management Services Support Specialist to assist with coordinating and managing various special projects and organizational activities within the G-1 office. This role involves event planning, administrative support, and the management of social media strategies to enhance the visibility and effectiveness of G-1 operations. The position requires proficiency with Microsoft Office software, data analysis, and social media platforms, as well as the ability to coordinate and communicate with multiple stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of projects. The position is located in Marietta, GA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, synchronize, and de-conflict calendars to support readiness events for the G-1 with all GAARNG organizations.
- Compile and distribute weekly slide presentations, coordinating with branch chiefs and ensuring compliance with professional standards.
- Perform statistical analysis on collected data to summarize qualitative and quantitative information for decision-making and performance measurement.
- Coordinate monthly locations for statewide conferences, execute site preparations, and synchronize all products to be used during the event.
- Coordinate and support transition events, quarterly Soldier Readiness Program (SRP) events, promotions, G-1 sync meetings, and other state G-1 events.
- Prepare, compose, update, and edit internal and external correspondence, forms, and reports.
- Prioritize and track time-sensitive events and suspense dates to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Input, retrieve, and store data for reports using approved systems.
- Create graphic presentations to support office operations.
- Research, compile, analyze, and summarize data to provide accurate information for briefings, reports, presentations, and meetings.
- Provide coordination support for the G-1 plans section.
- Coordinate conference calls between headquarters staff and subordinate elements of the organization.
- Provide administrative assistance for quarterly SRP events as needed.
- Use various software programs to maintain database files and prepare reports, including spreadsheets, briefings, charts, and graphs.
- Process and maintain all administrative records while safeguarding sensitive information.
- Ensure office space is maintained in a professional appearance.
- Manage and oversee social media content across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms, posting daily updates.
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to promote brand awareness and engagement.
- Collaborate with copywriters and designers to ensure social media content is informative and visually appealing.
- Measure the success of social media campaigns using web traffic metrics and engagement analytics.
- Monitor user engagement and recommend optimizations for social media content.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media platforms, focusing on engagement, reach, and brand awareness.
- Perform coordination and administrative functions, including researching information, compiling data, preparing reports, and responding to customer service inquiries.
- Manage the organizational assessment 11-2 program within the G-1.
- Provide mobilization support, including travel arrangements, for G1 operations.
- Create and oversee the daily posting of content across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aimed at increasing brand awareness.
- Utilize social media marketing tools to manage campaigns and track effectiveness.
- Explore audience and buyer persona research to enhance social media targeting.
- Define the most important social media KPIs, focusing on audience engagement and conversion metrics.
- Perform various coordination and administrative support functions, including gathering information, compiling data, preparing reports, and responding to customer service inquiries.
- Provide mobilization support and travel coordination as required for the G-1 office.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube) and social media management tools.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports for decision-making purposes.
- Experience in event coordination and administrative support within a large organization.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of best practices for social media marketing, engagement, and content creation.
- DOD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Additional Skills and Abilities:
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with military or government structures and processes is a plus.
- Experience in graphic design or creating visual content for presentations and social media is beneficial.
- Ability to adapt to new tools and technology in a fast-paced environment.
