ReconCraft is seeking an Outfitter / Mechanic to be responsible for assembling and outfitting newly manufactured vessels. Duties include installation of all parts, equipment, components, hardware, and accessories as part of a vessel manufacturing production line.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited) :
- Assembling / testing of parts using drawings and bills of material
- Point-to-point wiring
- Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods including crimping and soldering
- Using common hand and power tools
- Familiarity with mechanical assemblies
- Following documented procedures in fitting, adjusting and ensuring proper function of parts
- Measurements with calipers, tape measures, various gauges, and other devices
- Performing minor adjustments to tools and equipment
- Inspection of assemblies REQUIREMENTS :
- Education :
High school graduate or GED
Valid driver's license
Recent experience outfitting and assembling vessels or similar systems
Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs
