Duties
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all items are properly stored.
- Assist in the cleaning of kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment as needed.
- Help with food preparation tasks as directed by the culinary team.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Participate in banquet setups and breakdowns as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with culinary practices and food handling procedures is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
