Title: Director, Therapy Services
Location: Newtown Square, PA (Travel between clinics throughout Greater Philadelphia region required)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Patient Satisfaction: Works to improve and enhance patient satisfaction and culture within the Therapy department.
- Operational Development: Offer analysis, information and suggestions with the end goal of developing therapy operational policies; determine productivity, production, quality and patient-services procedures.
- Budget Management: Manage department budget and use operational resources.
- Compliance Management: Ensure accreditation, legal and medical compliance and remain updated on regulations at the local, state and federal levels.
- Policy Management: Creates implements and enforces written policies and procedures for all processes involved in the therapy department.
- Objective Building: Develops short/long-term work plans and objectives for all staff.
- Procedural Enhancement: Maintains and participates in the preparation of operation policy and procedures based upon best practices in physical therapy and provides details on how to improve outcomes and standardizes practices for the organization.
- Event Planning: Plans, organizes, and coordinates the activities of employees involved in the purchasing of supplies.
- EMR: Understands all aspects of the practice management software system, Athena.
- Training: Hires, trains, orients, and supervises department personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Requires a master’s degree or doctorate and is certified as a physical/occupational therapist with active state licensure.
- MBA/Associated Business degree highly preferred
- Minimum five years progressively responsible positions in the therapy field; minimum of two years supervisory experience.
- Proven financial planning and financial management skills
- Knowledge of legal, medical and accreditation compliance
- Must be well-versed in business and supervisory concepts and methods including TQM.
- Knowledge of policies, regulations, requirements of clinic and regulators/accreditors.
- Knowledge of principles and applications of therapy.
