ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Makes recommendations to improve radiologic services in accordance with clinic and governmental standards, and within the established budget.
- Assists with departmental goals and objectives.
- Establishes and implements radiologic policies and procedures. Makes recommendations for improvement
- Maintains the quality of radiographs, procedures, and services. Review’s quality of films.
- Trains/orients departmental personnel. Assigns work and supervises daily operations.
- Assists in reviewing departmental performance and ensures compliance with accreditation, legal and other regulatory requirements. Recommends changes in work methods.
- Assists in collecting data, prepares reports, answers correspondence and compiles statistics for administrative and regulatory purposes.
- Maintains and inspects equipment and materials. Introduces and demonstrates new equipment and techniques. Coordinates in-service training.
- Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations.
- Maintains patient confidentiality.
EDUCATION
- Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology, current ARRT and MRTBE certification.
EXPERIENCE
- Three years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist. Two years of supervisory experience.
