Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Expo/Line cook to join our culinary team. As a Expo/Line Cook you will play a vital role in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes to our customers. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety and preparation techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and a passion for culinary arts.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook food items to the highest standards, including vegetables, meats, and other ingredients.
- Follow recipes and food safety guidelines to ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented in a clean and safe environment.
- Assist in the maintenance of the kitchen and ensure that all equipment is clean and functioning properly.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and menu items.
- Demonstrate a commitment to culinary excellence and a desire to continuously improve the quality of our dishes.
- Assist with food storage and inventory management as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Support the kitchen team with food preparation, plating, and presentation.
Skills:
- Experience in a food service or culinary environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and preparation techniques.
- Strong knife skills and ability to work with various kitchen tools and equipment.

- Familiarity with fine dining standards and the ability to maintain those standards in a high-volume kitchen.
- Understanding of dietary aide procedures and the ability to accommodate special dietary requests.
