Job Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Servers to join our team. As a Server, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and enhancing the dining experience for our guests.
Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and courteous manner
- Present menus and explain daily specials to customers
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Deliver orders promptly and ensure accuracy
- Assist with food and drink recommendations
- Handle cash and credit card transactions with precision
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Upsell menu items and beverages to increase revenue
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills for order taking and billing
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of the food industry and menu items
- Proficiency in guest services to ensure customer satisfaction
- Cash handling experience is beneficial for processing payments
- Ability to upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience
- Interest in culinary arts or willingness to learn about food offerings
