Responsibilities
- Web Design and Development
- Create, manage and maintain websites using WordPress and Elementor.
- Develop custom functionality using PHP and JavaScript to meet project goals.
- Optimize websites for responsiveness, accessibility and usability.
- Test and debug technical issues to ensure peak performance.
- Cvent Support
- Provide technical support for event registration, reporting and website management within the Cvent platform.
- Assist in building and maintaining event microsites and email communications.
- Ensure data integration and troubleshoot event-related issues.
- Collaboration and Innovation
- Partner with internal teams to translate objectives into engaging web and event solutions.
- Stay informed about web development trends and Cvent updates to enhance the organization's capabilities.
Education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in web design and development, including hands-on Cvent platform use.
Skills
- Strong proficiency in WordPress and Elementor.
- Working knowledge of PHP, JavaScript and related web development technologies.
- Experience with event management software (e.g. Cvent), including advanced application and troubleshooting.
- Ability to deliver visually compelling, responsive, and user-friendly designs.
- Collaborative mindset with effective communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel to meetings and regional events to capture and cover content.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
