Duties:
- Review and analyze medical records to ensure accurate coding and billing
- Assign appropriate codes using ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding systems
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage for billing purposes
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies electronically
- Follow up on unpaid claims and denials, and appeal if necessary
- Maintain patient billing records and update as needed
- Provide support to patients regarding billing inquiries and payment options
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve billing discrepancies

Experience:
- Previous experience in medical billing or coding is required
- Proficiency in ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding systems
- Aging and Collections
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing processes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
