What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at The Counseling Center Group?
We are a psychotherapy group located in downtown Bethesda, looking for someone to manage our onsite office space.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating with contractors to make sure the space is kept clean, organized, and in working order
- Keeping an inventory of office supplies and placing orders as needed
- Coordinating and facilitating packages and deliveries
- Collecting, sorting and shredding mail
- Keeping office equipment in good working order, coordinating with technical support and repair personnel as needed
- Helping to set up and coordinate food for staff meetings and other office events
- Coordinating landscaping needs and other office-related maintenance
- Light administrative support as needed utilizing Microsoft Office
- Assisting with miscellaneous projects
This is a part-time position with flexible hours, estimated at approximately 5 hours per week. The ideal candidate should have flexibility in their schedule to be available for time-sensitive matters as needed.
The candidate should be reliable, self-sufficient and comfortable working autonomously to get things done quickly, efficiently, and cost-effectively with minimal supervision. The candidate should also enjoy working as part of a team, and should have excellent communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is a plus. Candidate must have reliable transportation and the flexibility to work onsite as needed.
