The Counseling Center (TCC) is one of the oldest non-profit behavioral health agencies in the State of Ohio. Operating in 5 Ohio counties and serving thousands of adults and youth in meeting their mental health, substance abuse disorder, and primary care needs, TCC offers comprehensive wrap-around services that include vocational development, GED programming, job placement, food security, transportation, family reunification, housing, clothing needs, health and wellness, and recreational resources. TCCs Ironton operation provides both youth and adult mental health, substance abuse, and primary care/medication assisted treatment services, while also providing transitional housing to qualifying individuals. Accepting Medicaid, private pay, and private insurance clients, TCC boasts one of the most comprehensive service models in the state, and is proud to help the Ironton community foster a culture of healing and progress.
TCC is in search of an Ironton Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Ironton complex, including all aspects of healthcare delivery and support services. The ideal candidate would have 5 or more years of experience in healthcare administration or related support services management, and would have a strong connection to the local community with a service-focused personality.
JOB SUMMARY
The Ironton Site Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Ironton complex, including all aspects of healthcare delivery and support services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential functions are duties which are primary to the position. An individual must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. The essential functions of this position are:
- Responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality clinical and primary care services to our clients.
- Oversees all related support services, including client transportation, housing, food services, facility maintenance and housekeeping, and site security.
- Manages the complexs business budget, ensuring proper balance of costs and revenue streams.
- Works with local stakeholders to help align clinic services with community needs.
- Directly and indirectly supervises clinic staff, both professional and trades, to ensure efficient and quality operations.
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
COMPETENCIES
- Concrete knowledge of healthcare operations management (i.e., Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health Treatment, Primary Care, etc.).
- Demonstrates sound judgment, emotional intelligence, and a genuine concern for others, while also working to meet program goals and objectives.
- Knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to healthcare operations (alcohol and drug counseling and rehabilitation services, mental health services, primary care, pharmaceuticals, and related).
- Demonstrates consistently effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, and the proven ability to work independently with minimal or no oversight while maintaining progress toward established goals.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with local agencies, community leaders, and the general public.
- Ability to express oneself clearly and effectively in oral and written form, and use associated computer software to that end.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, INCLUDING TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, business, or social sciences (social work, psychology, or sociology) preferred.
- Behavioral health-related credentialing/licensure preferred but not required.
- Experience in budget management, Lean/Six Sigma, and performance improvement helpful.
