Position Title: Transportation Lead

JOB SUMMARY
The Transporter Lead is responsible for providing and documenting transportation services to clients of The Counseling Center, Inc and for vehicle documentation and maintenance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential functions are duties, which are essential or primary to the position or the reason the position exists. An individual must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Provides transportation services to clients utilizing the agency van or other designated vehicle.
- Maintain necessary documentation related to transportations services in a neat and timely manner.
- Schedule vehicle maintenance and maintain necessary documentation related to vehicle maintenance according to agency policy and procedure.
- Maintain fleet records including maintenance and inspection logs.
- Coordinate and document vehicle maintenance with TCC Garage.
- Ensure all vehicles are properly registered and are equipped with proper safety and security equipment.
- Maintain schedules for transporters.
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS
Secondary functions are duties, which are not exclusive of the position, can be performed by other positions; however, secondary duties are to be performed for the efficiency of The Counseling Center, Inc.
6. Performs any other duties as assigned by the Program Supervisor/Coordinator.
COMPETENCIES
- Ability to demonstrate safe driving practices.
- Ability in the area of effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate and timely records.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, INCLUDING TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience working with chemically dependent individuals preferred.
- Good driving history required.
- Valid Ohio Motor Vehicle License required and ability to maintain insurability
- Maintain CPR and First Aid training.
- Knowledge about the disease of addiction, treatment, and recovery process of chemically dependent individuals.
- Must maintain all applicable agency trainings.
