Description
We are seeking a Barista, experience preferred but not required, with an understanding and appreciation of espresso and coffee based beverages. Candidates must be able to articulate and prepare all coffee house beverages, including coffee, espresso, and tea. Successful candidates will be able to provide world class customer service in a resort style setting. Success in this position will be measured on customer satisfaction, product quality, accuracy and cleanliness of work environment. We can teach the skill, you need to bring the enthusiasm! This position will also be responsible for answering and facilitating Spa and Fitness appointments. Currently not a fast-paced environment, so a great position for college students to work (as you can study when slow). Must be reliable!
Requirements
- Greet members
- Explain drink menus and answer questions regarding ingredients
- Understanding of food allergies and dietary restrictions
- Prepare beverages following recipes
- Answer phones and book appointments to the Spa or Fitness
- Receive and process payments
- Ensure cleaning schedule is followed
- Ensure equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
- Ensure inventory pars are met
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- Communicate customer feedback to managers
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Basic math skills
