What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Staff, Banquet Server position at The Country Club of Terre Haute?
Event Server:
Are you a highly motivated individual looking to make some extra money for the holidays (paycheck on December 20th plus holiday bonus)? If yes, this might be the perfect position for you. The Country Club of Terre Haute is seeking several individuals to help with the demands of our busy holiday season, particularly the first few weeks of December. Note: we will be closed on December 24 and 25.
SUMMARY:
Set and clean dining room tables in order to assist servers in providing quality and timely food and beverage service to members and guests.
EXPECTATIONS:
Provide exceptional service while maintaining a clean and safe environment for members, guests, and staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Room set-up and tear down for the next event
Assist in carrying food trays to tables
Pour water in guests’ glasses
Remove soiled dishes from tables and bring to dish washing area
Wipe chairs and clean surrounding area
Set tables with silverware, glasses and other items according to CCTH standards
Assist with side work as needed
Report to work on time and in proper uniform
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Less than high school education and no experience necessary.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and stand for lengthy periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Employee is regularly required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Employee is also required to stand and reach with hands and arms and regularly use hands and fingers.

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT: 16 years old.
Event staff servers are not serving alcohol.

Pay: $10.50 - $11.50 per hour
